CSIR ENAGE x Episode 2

Kgauhelo Dioka

The Green Book, is an online climate risk profiling and adaptation tool developed by the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), to assist South African municipalities in assessing climate risks and growth pressures. This is done by implementing adaptation actions towards the development of climate resilient human settlements.  Kgauhelo Dioka sat down with Willemien van Niekerk, senior researcher and project leader, on the second episode of CSIR Engage, to discuss how the tool can be used by decision – makers in local government to understand the consequences of climate and how to respond to them quickly and effectively.
