Singer-songwriter Viwe Tyolwana announces today that her long-awaited new project #Ngoku will be released on February 4 via Unmuted Records. Pre-order date set for 24 January 2022.
#Ngoku is a purely South African Rnb/Soul project that delves into the male/female dynamic from Viwe’s perspective, complimented by her sultry delivery and her authentic chill – inducing Xhosa expressions.

country will be realised – #NGOKU, a new project by Xhosa songstress Viwe Tyolwana will be
available on all streaming platforms via Independent label Unmuted Records.
With her trademark intensity and sensational vocals, the South African artist delivers a new
level of honesty and passion that we’ve all now come to expect from her sound on #NGOKU
NGOKU meaning ” NOW“ in her native tongue, includes guest appearances by Limpopo
artist and super –producer Lincoln Long and Unmuted’s very own ” Don’t be Dope “Rapper –
Draper.
To solidify the projects authenticity Viwe’s mother can be heard on the offering as
well, her voice adding a haunting appeal that is relatable to anyone who finds themselves in
the middle of the “ Joburg hustle”. The project features production predominantly by
Unmuted co-founder Lincoln Long and South African Award winning producer John
Lundun.
