On Monday 28 February 2022, telecommunications provider Telkom, in partnership with leading global provider of information and communications technology (ICT) infrastructure and smart devices, Huawei, handed over an Audi A1 to a lucky winner Noxolo Msizi from Sebokeng township in Gauteng. Noxolo drove away with a brand-new Audi A1 valued at approximately at over R400 000 after being selected a winner from the “WIN A CAR COMPETITION.”
As part of Telkom’s “WIN A CAR COMPETITION” in partnership with Huawei Smart Phone, customers who purchased or upgraded to a Huawei mobile phones and/or Laptop range, from Telkom Direct or Telkom Express stores between 1 December 2021 to 31 January 2022 stood a chance to win a brand new 2021 Audi A1.
The winner was selected through an electronic random draw system from all eligible entries that met the competition’s terms and conditions requirements. Entrants could enter as many times as they liked but were only eligible to win at the end of the duration of the competition.

The winner, Noxolo is a security guard and lives with her 14-year-old son and partner.

It’s the best day of my entire life. I feel honoured to be standing here in front of my brand-new Audi A1 with my partner and son. I still can’t believe that this is my car and I get to take it home with my family,” raved Noxolo excitedly.
“School drop-offs, family visits, and road trips are going to be my new favourite thing as I’ve never owned a car before, and I’m looking forward to reaching many destinations. Thank you so much, Telkom and Huawei, for making my dreams come true,” Noxolo added.
