Amidst questions of how the name came up, Kellogg’s disclosed that the name came from
Will Kellogg’s last name. During the first days of the company’s existence, Will would sign
out every box that he sent out as a sign of authenticity. His signature literally became the logo
for Kellogg’s breakfast cereals founded in 1900.
