JAC Motors introduces 24-hour Roadside Assistance

JAC Motors South Africa has increased its dealer footprint from ten to 65 dealerships over the past five years to support its sales growth in Southern Africa. After opening its new state-of-the-art Parts Warehouse earlier this year, the company has now moved into its new head office in Roodepoort.

“We are very grateful for the remarkable growth of our Brand since 2017. Lots of work from individuals and teams at the head office and in our dealer network contributed to our local growth. Exceptional after-sales service won the hearts of our customers, which further added momentum to the growth of our local operation,” says Karl-Heinz Göbel, CEO of JAC Motors South Africa.

Göbel highlights that the successful introduction of JAC Motors’ global customer-centred management concept in South Africa has resulted in high customer satisfaction levels. “The consistent adherence to our customer-centred management concept has impressed our customers globally and has led to high praises from the media who have reviewed our products.”

“Research over the last year has shown that customers want Roadside Assistance for increased peace of mind. We live in a country where safety is becoming more important daily. This programme will improve our customers’ ownership experience,” says Göbel.

The company’s new 24-hour Roadside Assistance programme does not only include new vehicles bought from 1 July but also includes all JAC products sold over the last five years that are still within warranty.

After announcing the opening of dealerships in Eswatini, Lesotho and Namibia, the company recently appointed dealers in Kuruman, Somerset West, Pretoria North, Alberton, Somerset Oos and Kokstad. The company plans to open dealerships in Botswana soon because of significant interest in its product range.

JAC Motors’ product range comprises its leisure-orientated T6 and T8 double-cab bakkies, X200 forward-cab workhorses and N-Series trucks. Its new N55 EV battery-electric truck is unique in South Africa. Transport operators are particularly impressed with the N55’s capabilities and the savings one can achieve with battery-electric vehicles in modern-day transport fleets.

“To extend our light commercial vehicle range, we have decided to launch the tough X100 forward-cab bakkie later this year. With the online delivery market continuously growing, companies are looking to minimise their transport cost; this is where the X100, with its one-tonne payload and fuel-efficient engine, will slot into the market,” concludes Göbel.

JAC Motor’s new head office is adjacent to its new Parts Warehouse and West Rand dealership in Roodepoort, at the corner of Hendrik Potgieter and Van Der Kloof streets.

JAC Motors’ Roadside Assistance contact number is 0861 007 385.
