What is your brand?
In a phrase, I’m the rip the bandage off type of girl. I say what needs to be said, highlights what many try to overlook and carry that through in all aspects of life.
In relation to what you do, what advise can you give anyone?
My main advice is to research what you’re doing as realistically as you can. It’s okay to dream but setting yourself up for failure isn’t. Make sure you’re building your career based off of facts, not hype.
What do you get up to when you are not working?
If I’m not working then I’m probably binge watching something. I love k-dramas and VH1 reality shows.
What is your definition of success?
Contributing work that changes the lives of the young people consuming it. I want to offer us another identity. Widen what society has limited us to be through content that in some even mundane-seeming way expands what black people believe is possible.
