Following a successful run in Durban, Brenda Mtambo’s Sane Project Tour makes its way to Johannesburg from November 26th to November 27th.
The Sane project tour, named after Brenda’s highly anticipated album, is finally making its way to Johannesburg for two nights only. Brenda has not released an album since 2016; this tour will be a preview of what Sane will sound like when it comes out in 2022.
Brenda will be sharing her life experiences as well as bringing you her most loved songs like I love you and other songs to indulge audiences, which is her heartfelt presentation of the past few years of experience put on paper. The Afro soul star has been very open about her anxiety struggles in the past two years since the COVID -19 pandemic. This gave birth to her newly released single, titled Khululeka, earlier this year.
“This is an introduction to my healing process from past pain; this is me standing up and refusing to let it consume me as it has” she said. This is me reconnecting with myself, as I had forgotten who I was and, honestly, I hadn’t been functioning well mentally for quite some time, so this is me pouring my heart into therapy and reclaiming my life”
This two-night live concert will be a wonderful treat for all music lovers who have been deprived of live music due to the pandemic, and this is an official invitation to a soulful night filled with love, joy, and struggles to which anyone can relate.
