The exclusive apparel sponsor of the Dimension Data Pro Am

Pringle of Scotland is proud to announce its role as the exclusive apparel sponsor of the 2023 Dimension Data Pro Am.

Now in its 28th year, The Dimension Data Pro Am remains South Africa’s premier social golf outing bringing together the country’s best male and female professional golfers who, over the course of the four-day event, are paired with South African leading entrepreneurs, thought-leaders and C-suite executives.

Pringle of Scotland, with a heritage dating back more than two centuries, is the perfect apparel partner for the Dimension Data Pro Am as it stands out in both the board room and on the golf course. It is a must have brand for those who have ambitions and for those who have achieved their ambitions and for those who set benchmarks.

This will be the first ever Dimension Data Pro Am where the men’s and women’s professional tournaments will be hosted at the same venue.

Both events will be televised by broadcast partner, SuperSport, as part of Dimension Data’s commitment to creating more equality in the sport and levelling the playing field.

Managing Director Southern Africa at Dimension Data, Nompumelelo Mokou, explains: “This year we are committed to elevating women’s sport as previously ladies were not front and centre of the big event. This is something that we are passionate about addressing in 2023.”

Pringle of Scotland is a subsidiary of FrontierCo, South Africa’s pre-eminent fashion and lifestyle curator, creator and distributor. Over and above Pringle of Scotland, FrontierCo counts Guess USA, Tom Ford Eyewear, Busby Genuine Leather Goods, Delsey of Paris, Aldo, Ted Baker Eyewear, Mr Tekkie, Frasers and Destinations Outdoor in its portfolio of retail brands.

FrontierCo Co-founder and CEO Bernard Mostert says, “Partnering with Dimension Data to enhance the event experience is a unique opportunity for us given that the Dimension Data Pro Am and Pringle both share an iconic legacy in golf and is famous for its quality and the enduring memories it creates for participants and fans alike. Furthermore, we loved the aspect that both the Dimension Data Pro-Am and ourselves are based in George and growing our community has always been one of our key focus areas in the more than three decades that we have operated from the Southern Cape.”
