Launch of Anthea Jeffery’s new book, ‘Countdown to Socialism’

We are excited to welcome Dr Anthea Jeffery — author and Head of Policy Research at the Institute of Race Relations (IRR) — to launch her new book, Countdown to Socialism, at this month’s FMF evening event.

Anthea will unpack insights from her book, including:

Understanding the National Democratic Revolution as the policy blueprint of the ANC/SACP alliance in South Africa.
How the NDR aims for a socialist South Africa and why most South Africans are unaware of its destructive goals.
Why the ANC does not embark on meaningful reform of the South African economy.
How socialism can be defeated in the ‘battle of ideas’.
Copies of the book will be available for purchase on the evening.
