South Africa goes on sale just in time for summer

You can’t deny that you deserve a holiday? In fact, every South African deserves an opportunity to explore and enjoy their country. Well, the time is here and the memories are waiting to be created as the Great South African get ready to go live. That’s right! Coming back this September, South Africans everywhere can enjoy up to 50% off travel deals and packages during Sho’t Left Travel Week.

The Great South African Sale will showcase how domestic travel can be accessible and affordable for all South Africans. During the Sho’t Left Travel Week, South Africans can get access to discounted travel deals and packages of up to 50% off. All they have to do is book between the 5 and 11 of September 2022.

According to Mashoto Mokgethi at South African Tourism, “Everyone loves a good deal, especially when it comes to travel getaways, awe-inspiring cultural experiences, and everything in between. With this sale, we love to show our fellow South Africans that our country is primed and ready to be enjoyed. Of course, there is a greater responsibility here for our sector and for our country after the last few years of challenges.”

Mokgethi refers to the need to reignite the domestic tourism industry by encouraging South Africans to explore and enjoy their own country.

With less than a month/week to go before online sales open nationwide – Mokgethi encourages all members of the tourism trade to register to upload their Sho’t Left discounted deals on www.deals.southafrica.net.

She says there will once again be a variety of benefits offered as part of this initiative including extensive marketing and promotion on South African Tourism’s various marketing channels.

“Sho’t Left Travel Week is a great opportunity for product owners to showcase their products and services to the many domestic travelers who are ready to take advantage of GREAT deals as they seek to explore their own country again,” concludes Mokgethi.
