Vodacom

Vodacom takes its roots from South Africa, it is a South African mobile communications company that provides cellular services to over 55 million customers. The service provider is also known in Nigeria, Zambia, Angola, Kenya, Ghana, Côte d’Ivoire, Tanzania, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Mozambique, Lesotho and Cameroon. The company branded from blue to red following its parent company Vodafone. Vodacom was incorporated in 1993 after the joint venture of Telkom, Vodafone and VenFin Limited (“VenFin”). Vodacom is short for Voice Data Communication.
